Candace Miller is a social scientist, specializing in global health with

  • Expertise in social welfare and protection policies, the situation of children affected by AIDS and the social and economic sequelae of HIV/AIDS
  • Proficiency in conducting evaluations and field research in resource-poor settings, including study design, quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, and the dissemination of findings
  • Skilled in the application of advanced statistical methods, such as multilevel modeling
  • Residency, professional and research experience in sub-Saharan Africa
  • Policy analysis, management, strategic planning, coalition building, program implementation and evaluation, community mobilization, and fundraising experience
Dr. Miller's doctoral research drew upon the fields of demography, social epidemiology, anthropology, economics, public policy, education, medicine, biostatistics and human rights.
